About Us

"recognizing the need is the primary condition for design."
- Charles Eames

Nu’u Quicksites was borne to fill a need within our Community. We realized that many of the local businesses in our home town don’t have a web presence. This could be due to a lack of cash flow or just never getting around to adopting. We know how vital a good web presence is for business success- it’s your first impression with your customers. We didn’t want our community to suffer from being left behind technologically and we knew we could help. Nu’u Quicksites is the solution.

Our web building platform allows us to design and build professional sites in a fraction of the time that traditional hard-coding would take. We chose a low-cost monthly payment system instead of the usual thousands-of-dollars up-front build cost. This allows businesses that would otherwise be unable to afford a website to Get Online!

Nu’u Quicksites is a Nu’u Computers venture, based in Hilo, Hawaii. We are in the business of helping people, and we love to provide cost effective solutions that are tailored specifically to our client’s needs.

Nu’u Computers cares about the future of our planet and our people, that’s why we choose to offset 100% of our carbon footprint with Gold Standard Certified Projects. Nu’u Computers is a carbon neutral business. We also choose carbon neutral or carbon negative website hosting platforms for all of our websites and other cloud services. You can feel good about choosing Nu’u for your computer needs.

Garrett has been providing professional web-design services since 2010. After all this time, he is still excited about creating beautiful and functional websites for his amazing customers.

Garrett has been working in the Tech field since his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, in 2002. Post military, Garrett worked for the Sumter County, South Carolina, Information Technology Department where he lead his staff in significantly improving the user friendliness of county IT systems and vastly improved the security infrastructure, before returning home to Northern Nevada to pursue education in business.

While in college, Garrett started his first business, Zephyr Tech, which quickly became a leading provider of a broad range of information technology services with clients in Northern Nevada, Las Vegas, and California. During this time, he met his future wife, Wailea. She is a Maui girl and was also in Nevada pursuing her education. Wailea was offered a Fellowship to pursue a Masters degree at the University of Hawaii. Garrett sold Zephyr Tech only to start Nu’u Computers a few months later in Fall 2016.
